PROUDLY SERVING OUR NAVAL FAMILIES!

 

Look at what we accomplished in 2010!

 

Ø      Several hundred active volunteers contributed thousands of VOLUNTEER hours to support our sea service families.

 

Ø      Thousands of Guideline Series and other helpful publications and CDs were mailed worldwide. These publications include:

                                Sea Legs

                                Social Customs & Traditions of the Sea Services

                                 Guidelines for Spouses of Individual Augmentees

                                Guidelines for Navy Reserve Families

                                Guidelines for Spouses of Chief Petty Officers

                                Guidelines for Spouses of Command Master Chiefs and Chiefs of the Boat

                                Guidelines for Spouses of Commanding Officers and Executive Officers

                                ARE YOU READY?  Guidelines for Navy Family Emergency Preparedness

 

Ø      Raised printing funds via donations and CFC to cover printing and operational costs. 

 

Ø      Added new COMPASS teams in Atsugi, Japan and Jacksonville, FL. We now offer this program at a total of 17 locations worldwide to educate hundreds of new spouses about the Navy lifestyle.  Approximately 600 spouses attended this new spouse and new-to-the-Navy training in 2010.

 

Ø      Enhanced this website's education resources with additional training modules for spouse seminars.

 

Ø      Supported 14 Sessions of the Command Spouse Leadership Course (CSLC) in which 254 spouses and 27 mentors attended in Newport, RI.

 

Ø      Supported 13 Sessions of the Command Master Chief Spouse Leadership Course (CMC SLC)in which 51 spouses attended in Newport, R.I.

 

Ø      Conducted annual PCO/PXO/CMC/COB Spouses’ Seminar at the Washington Navy Yard.

 

Ø      Worked with Navy Chaplain spouses to update our newest online spouse resource: 

Guidelines for Spouses of Navy Chaplains. .

 

Ø      Launched our website on the Commander Naval Installation Command website.
