FamilyLine: Navy Families Proudly Serving Navy Families


• Several hundred active volunteers contributed over 3700 VOLUNTEER hours to support our sea service families.

• Thousands of Guideline Series and other helpful publications were mailed worldwide. These publications include:
            
Sea Legs
            Social Customs & Traditions of the Sea Services
            Guidelines for Spouses of Individual Augmentees
            Guidelines for Navy Reserve Families
            Guidelines for Spouses of Chief Petty Officers
            Guidelines for Spouses of Command Master Chiefs and Chiefs of the Boat
           
 Guidelines for Spouses of Commanding Officers and Executive Officers
            ARE YOU READY?  Guidelines for Navy Family Emergency Preparedness

• Raised printing funds via donations and CFC to cover printing and operational costs. 

• Added new teams to our COMPASS program. We now offer this program at locations worldwide to educate hundreds of new spouses about the Navy lifestyle. 

• Enhanced this website's education resources with additional training modules for spouse seminars.

• Supported 25 Sessions of the Command Spouse Leadership Course (CSLC) and Command Master Chief Spouse Leadership Course (CMC SLC) held in Newport, R.I.

• Conducted annual PCO/PXO/CMC/COB Spouses’ Seminar at the Naval Observatory.

• Relocated our home office to new “Quarters” at the Wasington Navy Yard which provides us with a more efficient and effective work environment.

• Worked with Navy Chaplain spouses to offer a new online spouse resource: 
            
Guidelines for Spouses of Navy Chaplains.

• Offered volunteer support to the Fisher House at the annual Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, .

• Worked with Commander, Navy Installations Command to update and publish Sea Legs. This valuable military lifestyle resource is now available in hard copy and CD
