Become a Mentor
COMPASS Mentors are experienced spouses who volunteer their time to pass their knowledge on to other Navy spouses. There are opportunities to become a Mentor, or even to help provide food and babysitting, at all of our COMPASS locations around the world.
If you are interested in sharing your Navy Spouse knowledge with others, visit our COMPASS website to register for a class near you.
Mentors are also needed for the two Leadership Courses in Newport, Rhode Island. Visit the Command Spouse Courses page for more information. If you are interested in mentoring at one of these two classes, please contact our FamilyLine office by phone or email.
Help Around the Office
We are always in need of volunteers to perform various tasks in our Washington Navy Yard office. These tasks range from packing and shipping publication orders to assembling informational portfolios, creating publicity materials, researching information and much more. Volunteer hours are documented and we will provide certificates or letters of hours served annually or as needed. You may volunteer on your own or as a group.
