Newport Officers' Spouses' Club (NOSC) is open to spouses of active duty, reservists and retired commissioned & warrant officers of all the US Armed Forces to include spouses of deceased officers, spouses of National Guard & spouses of Foreign Student Officers associated with Newport Naval Station and civilians GS-7 and above. The purpose of NOSC is to promote the interests of the active duty & retired community in the Newport area; organize social, cultural & charitable activities and promote friendship, cooperation and support among members and other service organizations. Group socials are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. NOSC also offers numerous special interest groups from bunco, to fiber therapy and from lunch bunch to book club and more.
