Women in Construction

March 4th - 7th, 2023 is International Women's Week. Naval Services FamilyLine is proud to highlight all the amazing women of the Mobile Construction Battalions, U. S. Navy Seabees. "We build, we fight". While the first officially designated woman Seabee didn’t join the ranks until 1972, the steps towards admitting women into the Seabees began in World War II.
