OPSEC and PERSEC

We talk a lot about OPSEC and PERSEC because it is SO IMPORTANT in keeping you and your family safe! Operational Security (OPSEC) and Personal Security (PERSEC) are what keeps our Service Members and their families safe both online and in the real world. It is wise to have a good conversation with members of your family (including children, parents, and relatives) about being aware of what you say, who you say it to and how you can remain vigilant both in person and online. Never discuss ship movements, where they may be or who may be on the ship. Remember, "loose lips, sink ships"!
