International Women's Week - Women in Construction
It is International Women's Week and today we celebrate Women in Construction! We would like to highlight all the women who are apart of the Mobile Construction Battalions, the Seabees. "We build, we fight".
While the first officially designated woman Seabee didn’t join the ranks until 1972, the steps towards admitting women into the Seabees began in World War II. “We build, we fight.”
