National Park Service Founder's Day

On this day in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the Organic Act, which created the National Park Service. Founders Day is celebrated each year on August 25 in all of America's national parks to honor the creation of this agency!

Military members, veterans and Gold Star families are eligible for FREE passes to all of our national parks. Visit the National Park Service website for more information.
