Happy 246th Birthday US Navy!

Happy 246th Birthday to the US Navy!

On this day in 1775 a resolution of the Continental Congress established what is now the United States Navy. Originally, it was named the "Continental Navy" and it consisted of a just small fleet of ships that would patrol the sea to intercept British ships sent replenish the British Army troops near the colonies.

Today our Navy is vast and strong; resilient and ready to overcome any disaster and still maintain force lethality and preparedness for whatever comes their way.
