Naval Services FamilyLine is seeking a volunteer to serve as the Publicity and Social Media Director. The selected volunteer will also be a voting member of the Naval Services FamilyLine Board of Directors. The right candidate will have strong written communication skills, innovative thinking, knowledge of all social media networking sites, the ability to take initiative and the desire to learn new things. While it is not required, the ideal candidate should have experience with Canva and Asana. Training can be provided for both of these platforms. Naval Services FamilyLine is always in need of volunteers to perform various tasks in our Washington Navy Yard office. These tasks can include packing and shipping publication orders, assembling informational portfolios, creating publicity materials, researching information, and much more. Volunteer hours are documented and we will provide certificates or letters of hours served annually, or as needed. You may volunteer on your own or as a group.
